Nomex® fire-resistant fabric is used to make the Nomex CWU-45P Flight Jacket. produced in accordance with US military specifications The current U.S. Air Force cold weather flight jacket is the MIL-J-83388E CWU/45P flight nomex version. Our CWU 45/P is constructed to the same specifications as the U.S. Air Force’s Nomex version. Nomex® 92% Meta Aramid, 5% Para Aramid, and 3% Conductive Fibers were utilized as the materials.
